Local Star Restaurant Drogheda

Its rare for me to be encouraged to put up a review for a takeaway but I have to say the food from here is top class, still piping hot, quick delivery, great quality.
I got the house special fries rice and it can be hit or miss with most Chinese takeaways.
Everything about it was great, the amount, the taste, all of the meats were great for both quality and quantity.
My new fav Chinese in drogheda, 3rd time ordering and the consistency is what I look for and its always on point.

The management is disgraceful here, we rang up about our food being pink after we ate half and asked for a refund. the manager then came to our house to check the chicken out for himself. He proceeded to scream in my dads face and got up in ours saying that 18 year olds don’t have common sense when it comes to knowing if chicken is cooked, he then left and came back and abused us the next time around too. He asked for the bag of food back and rang us to tell us that we weren’t getting a refund because half of the food was missing. And said that the chicken is also good to eat when it was clearly pink, I have worked in the food industry around chicken and know when chicken is raw!! The manager is a liar. He said we would get our refund on the phone and in person first time around , but when he rings again after he has the food he proceeds to tell us we’re not getting it anymore !!!
This is disgraceful and will not eat from here again!!!

Sauce that came with the chips was like crude oil! Terrible experience at local star, the woman at the counter, mrs Morrisey, was shaking a donation box for her son “Jocklin”
